3D Mechanical Design Engineer - Produced Water Treatment
Alderley Process Technologies Ltd currently has a vacancy for a 3D Mechanical Design Engineer at Wickwar to work on produced water treatment packages for the international oil/gas/petrochemical industry.
Candidates for this position must have the ability to produce overview and detail drawings of vessels, piping and structural steel for skid mounted process systems and associated items for proposals and projects teams. The ability to understand client and international specifications and apply them to the design is essential. Candidates must also be able to work with other disciplines in laying out the process systems to ensure that the customer’s expectations are delivered.
Experience of using CADWorks Plant and /or Bentley Prostructures 3D software is preferable however, experience of other 3D packages will also be considered.
The successful candidate needs to demonstrate relevant direct experience of vessels, pipework and structural steel design in the petrochemical or oil and gas industry and should be able to demonstrate ability to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
