Wet Gas Metering

Wet Gas metering can be considered a 'special case' as opposed to the more general multiphase metering. Alderley supply both ultrasonic and venturi meters suitable for this demanding service.

Of the more general multiphase metering, wet gas has attracted much more attention from operators. The simplest form of this is the use of existing technology flow elements such as classic pattern venturi meters. In 1997 these venturi tubes were designed for bi-directional flow of wet gas. In general the modified classic pattern venturi can offer low cost entry to wet gas metering.
