Overview
The Chemical Injection Skid is designed to be installed on a fixed production facility, where the area is classified as ‘Zone 1’, ‘Gas Group IIB’, and ‘Temperature Class T3’ environment where hydrocarbon gases may be present. The Chemical Injection Skid is designed for operation with Methanol fluids.
The Methanol Injection Skid provides a supply of Methanol at 280 Barg at a calibrated flow rate up to 75 litres / hour.
Panel Construction
The Skid is of a 316L stainless steel construction designed in accordance with the static and dynamic stresses caused by the weight of the pump assembly. The structure is tested in accordance with LOLER specifications.
The enclosure is designed within integral drip tray.
The major sub-components contained in the Racks are:
• 1off x Chemical Injection Pump Assembly
• 1off x 1 Litre 380 Barg Pulsation Damper
Fluid output control and data monitoring
The pressure outlet is fitted with a pressure gauge for local indication. The output flow can be either set locally via the variable displacement pump heads or remotely via varying the motor supply frequency. The motor has been fitted with an integral thermistor in order to provide remote indication / monitoring of motor temperature.
