Overview

For some applications, coriolis mass-meters offer a technical solution for metering of difficult fliuds. Oils with high viscosity and solids content can harm more traditional meters and fiscal accuracy can be achieved with careful system design.

Coriolis or mass metering has come a long way since Alderley helped with its introduction to the North Sea in 1993.

Coriolis Mass Metering Skid

This coriolis mass metering skid with conventional bi-directional prover, from 2002, was GOST approved for use in Kharyaga. As is the normal case, the mass meters are removed for the final transport to site.
