Overview
There are simply too many of the company's "firsts" to be shown. Here are some examples.

.jpg&Width=170) The build of this very high pressure orifice meter system (API 10,000) proved as challenging as its design: destined for a South American location. Working with such heavy wall piping, as is necessary on a system such as this, requires not only the highest levels of fabrication expertise but also close attention to detail by the project managers. |
Innovation was integral to the design of this system in 2000 for a critical cryogenic (-100°C) fiscal mass meter package for liquid Ethylene and located in the Middle East. The safety and performance of materials at such low temperatures is of course a primary consideration, but additional procedures also have to be created to deal with the special problems of cooling down the system on start up, and the subsequent warming up after batch completion. There are many associated risks of ‘flashing’ or gas creation during this period. |
At such low temperatures, personnel protection is a vital Health and Safety design consideration. This is a typical example of the close
attention to detail and quality built into all Alderley designs from the very start of such novel projects. |
