Overview

As assets mature, and produced water volumes increase, operators face major problems in dealing with the resultant process issues. On the other side of the equation, increasingly stringent discharge specifications, including the implementation of CO₂ emission quotas, limit the disposal options open to the operator. Across the World, water production rates are five times oil production rates and rising, and in more mature areas the problem is even greater.

All these factors mean that produced water is no longer a simple waste stream. Equally the complexity of the problem is such that no single item of equipment is enough to mitigate the problem, and a truly integrated approach is therefore needed to address all aspects of the process.

Treatment

With an extensive record in oilfield engineering and process design, plus substantial experience in produced water treatment, Alderley is a highly capable supplier of quality products and comprehensive packaged systems to meet the most exacting performance requirements. Supplied as either stand alone or fully integrated skid-mounted systems, these units can be manufactured at a number of international locations within Alderley's global fabrication network. Furthermore ancillary separation equipment can be incorporated within the scope, such as pre-conditioning and final polishing systems to provide complete produced water treatment capability.
