Overview
In order to meet the ever demanding environmental constraints for emissions, Alderley have developed a range of high efficiency ceramic desanding hydrocyclones for the removal of solids from produced water.
The desanding cyclone is manufactured from high purity alumina and represents a drive in Alderley policy towards design and manufacture using Best Available Technology and incorporating continuous improvement.
Advantages of the Alderley Desanding Hydrocyclone
- High efficiency design (solids removal down to 10 microns)
- High on-line turndown (>5:1)
- Three standard hydrocyclone sizes offering flexibility in design
- High erosion resistance
- Compact vessel design
- Hydrocyclone liners can be individually removable or cartridge style
- Low maintenance liner design
- Reduced maintenance times
- Minimal operator training/involvement
- Minimal control and instrumentation required
- Sand removal either on-line or off-line
To accurately match our clients diverse requirements, Alderley provide desanding liners in the following three sizes:
- The AP-25 Cyclone. Offering the highest efficiency in solids clarification from a 1' diameter hydrocyclone liner.
- The AP-50 Cyclone. Offering the optimum performance balance between flow rate, pressure drop and efficiency from a 2' diameter hydrocyclone liner.
- The AP-80 Cyclone. Offering high throughputs for a minimal loss of energy from a 3' diameter hydrocyclone liner.
