1959
The first system supplied was a unidirectional ball prover, made for the South Africa Railways Corporation
1973
Alderley Process Technologies was formed, under the name Rigidon (UK) Ltd, to provide solutions to atmospheric pollution problems within the industry. In the subsequent twenty eight years the company has built up a considerable reputation and track record of expert fields.
1975
1st Oil. The Argyle Field metering system, built in Wickwar, measured the first oil produced from the North Sea in June 1975.
1985
Jordan Kent Metering Systems was formed. The original name was derived from the founding partnership between ABB Kent and Jordan Engineering, respected names in the Oil & Gas Industry. From the beginning of the North Sea Oil and Gas Industry, these two companies co-operated in the design and manufacture of packaged metering and proving systems.
1991
Formation of Alderley Materials Ltd to supply Passive Fire Protection and Composite materials to the oil and gas industry.
1994
Alderley acquired Entelec Ltd (flow computers) to continue expansion of the product portfolio.
1998
Formation of Alderley Controls Ltd from the acquisition of Albion Controls Ltd, to provide Metering Control Systems and Wellhead Controls Systems to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
2001
The Formation of Alderley FZE, Dubai, U.A.E. as a manufacturing centre to support the design and manufacture of oil and gas metering and process equipment. Alderley had been operating a sales office in the U.A.E. since 1980.
2001
Jordan Kent Metering Systems Ltd and Alderley Process Technologies merged to form Alderley Systems Ltd to broaden the scope of systems supplied to the oil and gas industry, and strengthen the overseas sales, engineering and service departments.
2003
Alderley’s, Air Pollution Division, formed a Joint Venture with Birse called ABAL, which carries out projects for Air Pollution Control from FEED, to design and construction of equipment.
2003
The formation of Alderley plc, Saudi Arabia branch to support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Maintenance and Support Contracts.
2003
Alderley plc acquired Specialised Management Services (SMS) to strengthen the company portfolio. SMS have experience in the design and manufacture of bespoke hydraulic control units to the oil and gas industry, and in providing complete customer care services to operators in this industry.
2004
The formation of Alderley Neftegas, to support the sales of equipment in Russia.
2005
AFZE is expanded to meet increased demands and to cater for future requirements. The expansion includes extended covered workshop facilities, increased hard standing area, and a wellhead panel production shop.
2006
SMS Aberdeen move to a new facility to meet the increased demand on our customer service division.
2007
Alderley Saudi Arabia moved into their new facility in Dammam; from here Alderley will be able to engineer and build the packages in Kingdom.
